The unique beauty of this Monolithic Dome home, designed by Larry Byrne, MDI's vice president of marketing and design, made it the perfect choice for the cover of Dome Living, MDI's book of more than 115 house plans. Its interior design (p. 82 of Dome Living) consists of 2660 square feet in three domes, with diameters of 30, 40 and 32 feet.

Every opening of the dome is accented with used brick bought in a nearby community. Every window provides a perfect view of the surrounding Texas landscape. Vibrant colors in the brick and flowers stand out after an afternoon rain shower.

The large, bay window allows natural light to flood the kitchen which features a double-oven, a center island with a built-in stove, generous cabinet space and a raised bar.
